This self-titled cassette is the first record made by John Borra as a solo artist. It began as a bare bones recording of J.B. and his guitar and was recorded this way, live off the floor at the studio of Ken Myhr (former guitar player for The Cowboy Junkies and Jane Sibery) on a 1 inch 8 track tape machine. With tracks left on each song J.B. added some bass, some electric guitar, called in some friends and the next thing they knew they had a full blown bare-bones recording of 10 new tunes. |
